Alabama Setter Country is the only program of its kind in the state, built to develop setters the right way, with detail, progression, and purpose.
This Developmental Minicamp is designed for setters who are past the beginner stage and ready to sharpen their finesse, consistency, and volleyball IQ. These are the traits that separate reliable setters from true floor leaders.
With just 12 athletes, this clinic allows for real coaching, real feedback, and real growth.
Who This Is For
7th grade and older
Setters with 2+ years of school or club experience
Athletes serious about building a strong setting foundation and long-term development
This is not an intro clinic.
This is where developing setters learn to think faster, set cleaner, and lead better. -

Alabama Setter Country is a one-of-a-kind, high-level setter development program built for athletes who take the position seriously.
This Advanced Mini Camp is designed for setters who already have a strong foundation and are ready to push into precision, decision-making, leadership, and consistency under pressure. We train the details most players never see—and the ones great setters are known for.
Great setters aren’t defined by “soft hands” alone.
They’re defined by how they think, how they lead, and how consistently they deliver in big moments. This camp develops those exact qualities—technically, mentally, and tactically.
Who This Is For
JV and Varsity-level setters
Setters preparing for collegiate recruitment
Current collegiate setters seeking elite, position-specific training
This is advanced training for setters who expect more—from themselves and their coaching.
Training Levels:
-

(Developmental)
This tier is intentionally built for athletes who are new to the setting position or have one year or less of focused training. Whether you’re a beginner looking to explore the position or a coach or parent hoping to get your athlete on the right track early — this program is for you.
In this progressive training program, athletes will develop:
Proper hand positioning and shape
Foundational footwork and movement patterns
Rhythm and timing with the ball
Body control, balance, and spatial awareness
Early mental cues and decision-making
-

(Advanced)
This is the highest level of training in Setter Country — intentionally crafted for athletes who are currently competing at the high school varsity or collegiate level, or who are striving to get there.
If you are 15 years or older (or have been evaluated and approved via private session), and you're ready to train like a top-tier setter — this is your program.
This is not a beginner’s space. This is where good setters become great, and great setters become game-changing leaders.
Athletes in Tier 3 will be pushed technically, mentally, and physically with a curriculum that includes:
Advanced tempo setting (off multiple tempos and broken plays)
Location precision and repeatability under fatigue
Decision-making and disguise in transition and out-of-system sets
Leadership and communication training as a floor general
Setter/hitter chemistry and eye sequencing work
Film review, game IQ development, and real-scenario reps
