Alabama Setter Country Small Group or Private Lessons
Email hello@blockoutacademy.com if you would like to schedule small group privates (up to 6 athletes) or individual lessons with Coach Nev
Training Levels:
-

(Developmental)
For athletes with 1–3 years of competitive experience as a setter or those transitioning into the position with prior club or school volleyball background.
Not for beginners or players with only rec league experience. This tier is intentionally built for athletes who have already gained exposure to the setter position through structured, competitive play — typically in club or school programs. It is ideal for:
Current setters with 1–3 years of experience
Athletes transitioning into the setter position with prior competitive volleyball experience
Players who have outgrown beginner-level training and are ready to build setting-specific skills in a deeper, more technical way
-

(Advanced)
This is the highest level of training in Setter Country — intentionally crafted for athletes who are currently competing at the high school varsity or collegiate level, or who are striving to get there.
If you are 15 years or older (or have been evaluated and approved via private session), and you're ready to train like a top-tier setter — this is your program.
This is not a beginner’s space. This is where good setters become great, and great setters become game-changing leaders.
Athletes in Tier 3 will be pushed technically, mentally, and physically with a curriculum that includes:
Advanced tempo setting (off multiple tempos and broken plays)
Location precision and repeatability under fatigue
Decision-making and disguise in transition and out-of-system sets
Leadership and communication training as a floor general
Setter/hitter chemistry and eye sequencing work
Film review, game IQ development, and real-scenario reps
