Who is Coach Nev
Founder & Director · Head Coach
Serbian-born Coach Nev has spent a lifetime in volleyball as an athlete, coach and developer of female athletes. Rooted in her Balkan upbringing, her coaching is direct, detailed and honest, with deep care for every athlete she teaches.
She competed with the Serbia Youth National Team before continuing her career as an NCAA Division I setter at UAB.
Her experience in volleyball, psychology and nutrition—and as a mother of four—shapes the philosophy behind BlockOut Academy: develop the whole athlete.
A former NCAA Division I All-American setter and Serbia Youth National Team athlete, Coach Nev founded BlockOut Academy to develop athletes for the long run. She coaches every position, with specialized expertise in setting. Her approach is built on commitment and accountability: technical skill, leadership and a strong mindset grow through consistent work over time.
